About Me
Hi - I’m Zoe!
I’m from a seaside town outside Liverpool called Southport and I have Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. I’m also a Psychology graduate with 2+ years of NHS experience in pediatric mental health and youth support work/development.
Having spent my life navigating a neuromuscular condition, I have developed a passion for helping other people with disabilities and neuromuscular conditions.
I have experience in supporting disabled people and it is something I am incredibly passionate I have been an ambulant wheelchair user for 10+ years now and understand the journey to acceptance. I am proud to be able to offer support to people of all ages who may be struggling to accept mobility aids. I often found it was significantly easier to talk with people who were in a similar situation and whom I could relate to.
I have experience in supporting disabled people and it is something I am incredibly passionate about, I am available to provide support.
I am also able to offer companies guidance in ensuring they are meeting disabled access needs. I am aware that it can be difficult to navigate through this and I am happy to support through this process., I am available to provide support.
As a disability advocate, I aim to spread awareness of navigating life with a disability and also promoting accessibility.
